Emma and Linny are about as rock n roll as they come and I was so excited to get them in front of my camera. I wanted to create a sense of fun and personality while also conveying the beauty of a wedding day. Emma and Linny were so much fun to work with, and we created something truly incredible together.
UVUMOA (Utah Valley University Museum Of Art) was an incredible setting for giving the casual editorial kind of tone we were looking for. But first, let me introduce myself.
I’m Ivy, a wedding photographer specializing in emotional imagery that FEELS like YOU, TELLS YOUR STORY, and STANDS THE TEST OF TIME as photos that you’ll love as much as you do now as in 20 years.
You might be thinking, “Hm, a rare talent. Not sure if I believe it,” but here’s the secret:
I’m highly empathic and emotional and if you’re in love, you bet your buttons I can feel it. I’ve practiced seeing and feeling the emotion in those around me, and putting that to work in my camera to get you the most incredible images you could dream of for your wedding.
This matters because:
If you want photos that truly have SUBSTANCE and make you FEEL something, you need a photographer who can work with simplicity to bring out your personality and find your story.
Wedding photography isn’t just about smiling at the camera and posing for hours with your new spouse. It’s about honoring the moment and the love that you feel toward one another and coming together with an artist such as myself to tell your love story in a way that will be felt for years and years to come.

Emma and Linny are a real Utah couple who agreed to model for me at UVUMOA. I wanted to increase my LGBTQIA representation, so I asked them to model for me in whichever way felt most natural to them! Linny decided to wear a suit and Emma decided to wear this stunning gown. Both of them looked so beautiful and I’m so grateful I get to represent queer love with their help!
This photoshoot was actually also represented in Rock N’ Roll Bride’s magazine, which was such an honor.
I hope to increase my representation of the LGBTQIA community and showcase my love and support for the community more and more moving forward.

We started at Emma and Linny’s apartment, which has a very cool vintage ornate theme, to capture some getting ready type photos. These feel harsh and way cool, so I pulled out my flash to lean into that feeling!
It’s time!! After we were dressed we all went to Utah Valley University Museum Of Art (UVUMOA) and got started! The following are the photos we took around the grounds as well as inside the museum.
